Human rights for all (2021-2022)

Aim: To boost and improve the quality of the human rights education for different target groups (the youth, teachers).

Activities: Provide expertise on the human rights education and methods of teaching at the training sessions, workshops and publications.

Human Rights Challenges

According to the 2018 Universal Periodic Review from United Nations, the human rights challenges in Romania relates to, among others:

Access to education for minority groups;
Discrimination on the ground of gender identity and sexual orientation;
Corruption in the judiciary and in the public sector;
Violence in prisons, incidents of ill-treatment, specially based on race;
Access to legal aid to vulnerable groups;
Gender-based violence, domestic violence;
Gender equality, equal pay;
Human trafficking, especially for the purpose of labour exploitation;
Access to education in rural areas;
Roma inclusion, documentation, access to education;
