Croatian Partners on Study Trip to Oslo

Partners from Croatia visited Oslo and the Human Rights Academy for a three days study trip 15-17 March.

The trip was part of the MODUS project, which takes place first and foremost in Croatia and which aims at strengthening the country’s democratic culture, civic awareness and participation. The target groups in the project are teachers from primary and secondary schools as well as representatives from civil society organizations.

It was employees from Udriga Delta and ISKRA who were in Oslo. The Croatian delegation attended a workshop organized by the Human Rights Academy about human rights and citizenship education with a special focus on education for vulnerable groups. Also visits to the Klimahuset (The Climate House) and HL-senteret (The Norwegian Center for Holocaust and Minority Studies) were parts of the program. The meeting with Tobias Dale, the young leader of Operasjon Dagsverk (Operation Day’s Work) was very interesting. Operasjon Dagsverk is Norway's largest solidarity campaign by and for youth. The visitors had many questions about the Norwegian school system and contemporary challenges for pupils in Norway. Thanks to all for their contributions! Udruga Delta ISKRA waldorfska inicijativa Udruga Breza EØS-midlene
